Outdated and Unresponsive Framework
The Ohio FFA approached me to modernize their existing website. They were unhappy with their content management system and found it difficult to use. The site design was also not responsive and the hierarchy of the content was not intuitive.
Design, Strategy, Development, and UX
I designed and developed a solution that improved the overall user experience by optimizing the site hierarchy, removing user obstacles, and modernizing the UI. The site features multiple child sites, document management, media presentations, and contact forms all integrated with their educational database system and powered by a robust content management system.
Customer Insights & Ideation
I partnered with the Ohio FFA stakeholders to uncover insights and translate concepts into features that address customer behaviours and motivations.
Experience Strategy & Vision
I created wireframes and prototypes to share the vision, design principles and content strategy. This helped to evangelise ideas, gain alignment and drive decision making.
I designed for all devices – desktop, tablet, and mobile. I executed wireframes, prototypes and design specs. Based on Google Analytics, the improvement for user traffic increased by 22% the first month.
I presented my design and strategy to gain buy‐in from executives, senior stakeholders and many other teams throughout the project lifecycle.
In the end, the Ohio FFA received a robust, optimized, modern, responsive digital experience.
